Mission Statement

To encourage students to become familiar with the resources available to them within the library.

Catalog

Web Collection catalog, which contains the library holdings, is available on all computers in the library, as well as in the classrooms. Students may access the library database from the convenience of their classroom. Find a book by typing in the author's last name, book title or subject area.

Checkout Information

3 books per student: loan period = 3 weeks.

1 magazine: loan period = 1 day.

Vertical File Information: loan period = 3 days.

1 Encyclopedia = loan period 3 days.

Reference books are to be used in the library.

All materials checked out may be renewed for one additional loan period.

Rules

The library media center is part of the school campus; therefore school rules must be followed in the library.

Students are expected to maintain an atmosphere conducive to study and/or research. Computers are available for research and for Internet access. Students may study together if they do so quietly.

Students are responsible for lost or damaged books.

Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

Textbooks: Before and After School, and Lunch
